Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Cynthia and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold a B.S. in Psychology and a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Combined I have over 10 years of experience working in the fields of mental health and social services. My experience spans from working with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, anger, bipolar disorder, substance use/disorders, grief & loss, incarceration, trauma, abuse, teen issues, self-esteem, and relational issues (family/couples).

A bit about my approach to therapy

My strong passion for helping others comes as an instinctive nature. It is what motivates me and continues to be the driving force in my career. I work with my clients collaboratively and place great emphasis on the genuine therapeutic relationship we create together. I work towards creating a space in which my clients feel heard, supported and empowered.

What you can expect from our first session

Working with me clients can expect an authentic experience in which they feel safe and comfortable speaking on anything and everything. We work towards a deeper understanding of the issues that brought you in while developing a way to manage, and/or overcome them.
