Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor offering online/virtual therapy with over 16 years of experience in counseling. I have worked for public organizations for most of my career, which means I have experience working with a variety of different people. I specialize in anxiety disorders, career dissatisfaction/stress management, and life transitions/adjustments (i.e. college, divorce, aging, onset of illness).

A bit about my approach to therapy

If you are experiencing anxiety, fear, or caution on moving forward on things you want to achieve like that new career, starting a new relationship, enhancing productiveness, starting and completing college training, or just trying to find a peaceful balance in your life, I am the therapist for you. I start off getting to know you and different aspects of your life. Once we are comfortable, we start doing therapy work to explore your goals, vision for life, and steps to achieving these things.

What you can expect from our first session

The first session can begin a bit awkward, but I walk you through your first session with questions and casual conversation. Once you feel comfortable, I use integrative techniques that is acclimated to your personal needs. It is important for clients to learn and grow in therapy and to resolve the issues that interfere with their potential. I use practical approaches that you can apply to your real-life circumstances, while first practicing these skills in the safe space of therapy.
