Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate psychotherapist, and have worked in a variety of settings as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and mental director. Over the course of 10 years of clinical practice, I have been helping clients live happier, more fulfilling lives that are aligned with their values and desires. I believe that one of the purposes of therapy is to help individuals free themselves from pain or symptoms, and the trap of unhealthy interpersonal patterns.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapy sessions are a safe space of unconditional acceptance, where clients could feel free to be themselves without filtering. Here, I provide a relationship that clients use to heal and grow. Some of the most common conditions I have focused on in my practice for the past several years include: anxiety, depression, panic disorder, OCD, trauma/PTSD, self-injury, impulsivity, personality disorders, rage/anger management, and general mental health.

What you can expect from our first session

I utilize an integrative treatment approach incorporating CBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness and behaviorism. Treatment is tailored to my clients’ needs and the modality that best resonates with them. I understand the value of identifying themes and the deeper meaning of our behavior, although I prioritize minimizing or eliminating symptoms and distress. My practice is culturally sensitive and LGBTIA affirming.
