Courtney has a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and is licensed in the state of Virginia and New York. She is has advanced training in Family Systems Trauma therapy.
Courtney identifies as a queer therapist with years of experience with working with clients in the LBGT+ community, along with the BIPOC community. Courtney has years of experience providing individual, family and group therapy for anxiety, depression, family conflicts, self-esteem and personality disorders. Working with adolescents, teens and adults and has acquired experience working with diverse populations.
She views each client as unique and individual while implementing specific interventions with culture awareness. Courtney assists clients with empowerment, upliftment, and self- discovery toward their treatment goals using evidence based practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
