Great to meet you!

I possess a Master's degree in Psychotherapy from NYACK's Alliance School of Counseling &have worked on the 'frontlines' of community agencies serving vulnerable populations. I've helped support victims of trauma, domestic violence, veterans, dual diagnosed clients with both mental health and substance abuse issues, HIV and long term illnesses, immigration issues; sexual abuse and exploitation; relationship issues; identity issues; anxiety, depression, bipolar and schizoaffective disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With compassion and support my counseling style encompasses a bio/psycho/social/spiritual approach. It's my understanding we are multidimensional human beings and ones spiritual life can also be a positive tool for growth and healing. I also utilize a strength based approach coupled with CBT.

What you can expect from our first session

I like to think of myself as the GPS and my client as the driver who determines the destination they would like to reach. I'm personable and down to earth. It's my hope that I can provide a safe space which allows you to feel comfortable enough to express exactly what's going on with you.
