I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at Saint Louis University, internship at Virginia Treatment Center for Children, and post-doctoral training at Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress (formerly Kennedy Krieger Institute Family Center). Since becoming a psychologist, I have worked with adults on a number of different specialty areas including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life adjustments, trauma, goal planning, life transitions, relationships, stress management, and medical stress. I believe in a collaborative relationship with my patients. This means I partners with you to help you understand your current life situation, your emotions, and feelings. My goal of treating is always to help my clients learn the skills needed to work toward living the life they envisioned for themself. I have a special research interest in trauma and also one on the effect of spirituality and religion on an individual’s functioning. In my spare time I enjoys writing and gardening.
