Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Corina Relyea. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 5 years and have experience working in private practice, community health, school settings and online telehealth. Through my work experience I have developed expertise in supporting individuals with mood disorders and anxiety disorders, including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, bipolar 1 disorder, bipolar 2 disorder and borderline personality disorder.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have completed trainings in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and apply these skills with my clients, in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based approach, trauma informed care, and solution focused therapy. My style of therapy is rooted in meeting my clients where they are at and building on the strengths and wisdom they possess. I believe individuals deserve to be understood, validated and treated with compassion as they are navigating challenges with their mental health.

What you can expect from our first session

When participating in therapy sessions with me, you can expect to work on emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance skills, improving unhealthy thinking patterns, interpersonal relationship skills and building personal self confidence.
