Great to meet you!

My name is Cleo and I am a Licensed mental health counselor and national certified counselor. I graduated with my Masters of Science in Education in counseling at Alfred University. I have worked with diverse populations and have helped adults navigate through trauma, anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation and obsessive compulsive disorders. I have extensive training in ERP for OCD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are intricately interconnected. To help you achieve your goals for mental wellness, I focus on adjusting this equation through thought challenging. Together, we'll challenge perspectives, confront unhelpful learned behaviors, identify triggers and patterns, learn emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills and navigate interpersonal conflict resolutions.

What you can expect from our first session

I approach your journey and each session with empathy, kindness, and without judgment. Aside from being a therapist I am also human and my clients appreciate a therapeutic relationship where we can be real and leave the session feeling as if you'd just talked to a friend. I am here to offer you a safe and supportive space where we can navigate challenges together.
