Great to meet you!

Areas of treatment have surrounded personal, behavioral, emotional, relationship, and family difficulties, as well as working with clients with histories of addiction and trauma. I am licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS License # S10101)), as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS License # 3212), and as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS License # CCS-20365) in NC and as a Licensed Professional Counselor (#0701011498) in VA.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that everyone needs support and to feel that someone listens, hears, and understands them. I try to ensure that every person I have therapeutic contact with, carries those feelings with them as they life their in their daily life.

What you can expect from our first session

People can make better decisions if they have enough information and understanding about how counseling works. There are no instant, painless, or passive cures, no “magic pills”. Sometimes change will be relatively easy but more often change takes much effort, time, and persistence.
