Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Chris. I’m an artist turned therapist and have degree in Art Therapy/Counseling. I have trained in settings including a juvenile detention center, palliative care center, and trauma clinic. Post graduation I have worked in DC doing agency work, later in a school for neurodiverse adolescents and their families, and most recently have worked with the Marine Corps and the Navy. I work well with men, couples, and families with a specialization in military lifestyle.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I base all of my therapeutic interactions in trauma-informed care. Beyond that, I often utilize CBT and have the option to include art therapy for those interested.

I am direct yet empathetic and enjoy developing genuine connections with my clients.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients walk away from therapy with a stronger sense of self, awareness of their emotions, and decreased sense of judgement and ability to self regulate in healthy ways. Many of the men that I work report better relationships with their loved ones and the ability to communicate in healthy ways.
