I am here to help you overcome life's challenges and live a fuller, happier and more fulfilling life. My style is to work with you collaboratively to identify your goals and empower you to achieve them. I have helped client decrease and overcome anxiety, depression, substance use, coming out, codependency, sexual identity and gender transitioning. Together, we can look at your life's story and rewrite your narrative to increase your sense of self-confidence, happiness, love and joy in your life.
A bit about my approach to therapy
My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative, which means I bring to this work a strong appreciation for the uniqueness of each person, as together we work towards healing and growth. I am trained in several models, including: Cognitive- Behavioral; Solution-Focused; Narrative; Dialectical Behavioral and Mindfulness.
What you can expect from our first session
My primary goal as a therapist is to provide you the space to explore your thoughts and feelings and resolve your difficulties in a safe and supportive environment. The first few sessions focus on gathering information and proving psycho-education. From each session, clients can take away a sense of being understood, feelings of hope, and increased self-awareness.
