Knowing how difficult life can be, I work diligently in helping my clients find their own answers. This is achieved by tailoring my approach to therapy according to each individual's unique needs. I have a passion for serving diverse clientele with circumstances unique to their own lives. This has been an amazing journey of learning and sharing. Clinical Practice

I practice in the greater Dallas-Fort-Worth area, utilizing an eclectic and holistic approach in my work. Some of the therapeutic strategies integrated in my practice include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Adlerian and Rogerian approaches.

I have worked in this field for over ten years, in various settings from Inpatient hospital settings, crisis stabilization, drug, and alcohol rehabilitation facilities, and community outreach work. I have trained crisis line operators and given various presentations.

Education and Training

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University. I proceeded to earn a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler University (formerly known as Adler School of Professional Psychology), a Master of Arts degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and a Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling at graduate level- all from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois.

State and National Professional Licensing

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the State of Texas. I am Board-Certified as a Master Addictions Counselor (MAC) (national level board certification).
