I received my Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University and my Masters degree from THE University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC! I love to travel and spend time with my family.

Professionally, I have extensive experience with working with those in crisis situations, those who struggle with self-injury and suicidal ideation. My passion is clinical work and assisting others better understand themselves.

My counseling approach starts with the building of a strong counseling relationship with each client. This requires time and willingness. I follow an orientation that is client and solution focused. I focus on the client’s strengths and then their challenges after building a solid relationship with them.

Clients can expect to take away from sessions a sense of ownership and empowerment as well as a sense of accomplishment.
