Hello, I'm Charissa! I am a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in working with individuals with PTSD, Sexual Abuse, and Child and Adolescent therapy. I love working with teenagers and adults in exploring their interests while building up their strengths.

I believe that the client is the expert in their life. I use strength-based approaches and motivational interviewing. I do use humor to cope and puns occasionally. I like to use gradual exposure and work with people at their own pace. I specialize in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to help people process their trauma.

My clients can expect to feel liberated in their decision-making, affirmed that their feelings are valid, and feel empowered to be assertive in ways they thought they never could. My clients will be treated like the unicorn that they are. In working with me, my clients will be seen, heard, and supported.
