Great to meet you!

At times life can be down right hard. It becomes hard to manage how you feel and how you sometimes respond. Crying easily, worrying and feeling alone, angry, overwhelmed and sad are all common signs of depression and anxiety. I am here to support you and help you through such a challenging time.

I will assist you with learning how to respond appropriately to triggers to overcome feeling low, empty, and ashamed. I will incorporate biblical/Christian principles, if requested.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have extensive knowledge in working with minority populations. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you're able to openly explore your issues/concerns. Using a collaborative approach, we then identify the necessary steps to move forward.

What you can expect from our first session

I will purpose to be empathetic to your experiences and concerns. We will address the impact of trauma on the brain, central nervous system and how it affects mood and behaviors. I will assist you in identifying and developing the right coping skills to heal and take control of your life again. Brainspotting is also an option with treatment.
