At times, life is difficult and uncertain. It may become hard to manage how you feel and how you sometimes respond. Crying easily, worrying, feeling agitated, nervous, overwhelmed and sad are all common signs of depression and anxiety. It can all feel scary, stressful and lonely.
I want you to know you are not alone. I am here to support you. As your therapist, it is my desire to assist you in understanding irrational thought processes and to address difficult experiences and traumas that have left you feeling hurt, empty, and/or hopeless. I will incorporate biblical principles, if requested.
I have extensive knowledge in working with minority populations, women in particular. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you're able to openly explore your issues/concerns. We then identify the necessary steps to move forward.
I will purpose to be empathetic to your experiences and concerns. I will assist you in identifying and developing the right coping skills to heal and take control of your life again.
