I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) with the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my Bachelor of Psychology from Georgia State University and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University. I have over 14 years of experience counseling families, couples and individuals from young children to seniors for mental health and substance misuse issues. I am currently conducting telehealth sessions in Georgia. I work with teenagers, young adults, adults and seniors. I have experience providing therapy in private practice settings. As well I have 8 years’ experience conducting therapy in the community, private homes and group home settings. In addition, I worked for over 12 years as a Therapist on an Older Adult (55+) inpatient treatment center stabilization unit for mental health and substance misuse issues. My goal is to help clients with problems causing emotional or mental turmoil and seek to promote behavioral change and optimal mental health. I use a Person-Centered Eclectic (Integrative) Counseling approach utilizing various therapeutic treatment modalities to encourage awareness and healing on a journey of discovery and growth.
