All of us are in a trajectory of human experience. Sometimes our trajectory leads us to some of life’s most challenging moments. Since people do not respond to challenges in the same way, it is common for some to develop maladaptive coping strategies. My goal is to develop a supportive therapeutic relationship to help clients learn effective coping skills and help them build a meaningful life. I value a holistic approach to problems and therefore utilize a blend of evidence-based approaches to move clients forward. I have specialized training in ACT, CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), & Trauma interventions.
I believe that in each one of us there is a spark of life that even when the storms of life take you deeper into the darkest of places, that spark can be ignited in an environment that fosters empathy, compassion, respect, unconditional positive regard and kindness. As a therapist, I will hold the space for you and help you explore ways to heal yourself.
