Personally, I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region and, after briefly attending Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, obtained my bachelor's (B.A. in psychology) from Chatham College. I then moved to Columbus, Ohio and received an M.A. in Counselor Education (clinical mental health counseling track) from The Ohio State University. I've had the opportunity to study conflict resolution in Haifa, Israel and indigenous women's health issues in Guatemala. I live in the Finger Lakes area of NY with my partner, children, cats, dogs, and chickens.
