I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual psychotherapy to adults in New York and Georgia. As a generalist, I have experience with a wide variety of issues and am able to treat most concerns that people bring to therapy. However, my particular areas of interest include: depression and anxiety; relationship issues; life transitions; complex trauma and unresolved childhood issues.

I bring a relational framework to treatment. I intentionally join my clients in their journeys with curiosity, non-judgement and respect. I find value in examining how family history, attachment style, and past life experiences impact the current problems. In addition, I tailor to each client by incorporating other therapeutic styles, including mindfulness, somatic resourcing and behavioral modalities. My eclectic style is always accompanied by authenticity, warmth and empathy.

In the first appointment, we will get to know one another and make a plan for treatment. I will ask you about your most immediate concerns and how they are impacting your life, as well as past life experiences. I welcome you to ask any questions or express any feelings that you may have about starting therapy. In follow up appointments, I will "meet you where you are at," while keeping in mind the original goals for starting therapy.
