As a therapist, I offer my clients a safe space to explore and process their thoughts, feelings and experiences. I listen with empathy and openness to understand each individual’s needs. I use a strengths- based approach to empower clients by helping them recognize their resiliency and capabilities. I encourage clients to be proactive when addressing their concerns and I support them in taking steps towards their goals. I believe in nurturing interpersonal relationships as well as strengthening the relationship one has with one’s self.
I am trained in mindfulness techniques and use cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, among other modalities, to address mental health issues. I have treated many clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship issues with partners, peers and family.
