Great to meet you!

My journey to counseling began with a career in sales, where I found myself interested in hearing my buyer's stories and truly taking an interest in their lives. I received my MA in Applied Psychology from NYU and have been working in Private Practice since. I work with adults & older teens (16+) who are experiencing anxiety/depression, self-esteem issues, anger management, and previous trauma. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is not "one size fits all," and always try to pull from theories that I think will be a good fit for each client. Theories that I am passionate about include Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Attachment, and Interpersonal.

What you can expect from our first session

Our time together will begin with an intake where I will gather background info on you. This will help me to get a better picture of you and to help me develop a treatment plan that will be right for you. I generally suggest meeting weekly for at least the first 4-6 weeks. I always want you to be a part of the process because ultimately your growth will be dependent upon how you utilize the strategies that we work on together. Please email me to set up an appointment!
