“As no one else can know how we perceive, we are the best experts on ourselves.” Though attaining complete self-awareness may take a lifetime to acquire, ultimately the greater our self-awareness the more success we will have in changing ourselves and changing the way we interact with others. Caitlin Kelly is an experienced counselor, having counseled patients for a decade and a half, including adults, children and adolescents, suffering from anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma and grief. She is especially knowledgeable about the unique challenges facing performing artists of all ages.
Caitlin’s humor, creativity and eclectic approach to solving problems helps clients to gain a better understanding of their feelings, thought processes and behavior. When working with Caitlin, patients experience a safe, comfortable and nonjudgmental space to express their greatest anxieties and work through them until they are no longer prominent.
As a New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Caitlin Kelly holds additional certification in Play Therapy and Grief Counseling. Caitlin also holds a primary certificate in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call.
