Great to meet you!
I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. In addition to private practice, I am the Director of Counseling Services at JWU-Charlotte. I have worked in the social work and counseling field since 2011. I have worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings. It was a desire to help others, give back to my community and find a work/life balance that led me to make the career change.
A bit about my approach to therapy
My treatment approach is client-driven and strengths-based. I have completed training in several clinical areas including: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), and Trauma-Informed Care. My goal is to help my clients reduce their symptom levels and find a balance point in their lives that leads them to increased insight into their thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
