Great to meet you!

I have been in mental health for almost 15 years in a multitude of settings: Hospitals, Military, Private Practice, Foreign Countries, Embassies, Schools, Consulting, you name it. I wanted to be sure about my path before I committed to it. During my time overseas, I both witnessed and experienced the worst of what can happen. I realized that combat, caregiver, and First Responder trauma is not being treated in the most helpful way.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I discovered a lack of specialization was leading to therapeutic burnout in clients who felt they were making no progress and that "therapy is pointless." I get right to work with you to break through that burnout in a directive and assertive way.

What you can expect from our first session

Progress. Learning. Teamwork. And yes, homework. There will be homework because the goal is to NOT need therapy and be able to manage yourself.
