Great to meet you!

I have 10 years experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received a Master of Arts Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida. The majority of my experience is dealing with women's issues and how voice is found in a paternalistic society. I use a family systems lens as we bring our family with us even when we come as individuals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my work with clients I create a space of openness and acceptance as to what is present in the client's life. I believe that clients have an innate ability to create healing for themselves and I shepherd that process. I use a Mindfulness-Based Awareness practice and a participatory approach to create solutions.

What you can expect from our first session

As a client commits themselves to the process, they can expect increased awareness and see themselves and their issues more clearly. This awareness oftentimes brings with it a heightened ability to solve issues that are not serving the client.
