Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor in Michigan with 4 years of professional work experience. I utilize a variety of therapeutic models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy , Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral techniques.I personalize the techniques used and topics explored to the needs and nature of the client. I specialize in working with adolescent to adult males.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I personalize the techniques used and topics explored to the needs and nature of the client. I strive to create a safe and comfortable space where my clients are able to freely explore their feelings and thoughts. I work to make appointments comfortable with clients by exploring topics they enjoy, utilizing humor, and/or playing games.

What you can expect from our first session

During the first session, I work to build a relationship with my clients and gather background information. If the client is a minor, I typically meet with parents for the first half of the appointment and my client for the second half. I strive to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere where we can explore goals and what has been occurring. We will discuss what my clients are passionate about and discuss ways to incorporate those items into sessions if able.
