I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 22 years of clinical experience.I am a Certified EMDR therapist and CPT trained clinician. I am an Army veteran and a military spouse and have over 10 years of experience working with active duty service members, veterans and their families around transition, trauma and substance abuse. I specialize in many different life challenges including life-transitions, career changes, anxiety, depression, spiritual problems, trauma, and addictions.

I believe that counseling is a joint effort that involves both the training of the counselor and work with commitment on the part of the client. No one theory of counseling fits all situations; therefore I prefer to utilize research-based counseling theories and techniques that fit the particular counseling situations and clients, and as requested, with an emphasis on the integration of biblical principles.

During the first session, You can tell me about what issues or concerns you are wanting to work on and I will be available to answer any questions you might have about therapy with me. My hope is that this meeting will give us a good idea of whether we might work well together. If you decide you would like to continue to meet with me, then at the end of the session we will be able to complete some paperwork and schedule another appointment to begin our journey together.
