I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with clients with a range of wellness and mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, addiction, PTSD, OCD, and relational issues. My clients appreciate that I prioritize creating a safe and supportive therapeutic alliance in order to construct an atmosphere that is conducive to therapeutic change. The most important factor is helping my clients achieve their goals. We do this together by looking at patterns and significant moments from the clients' past, as well as exploring their here-and-now experiences. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including depth-oriented psychology, behavioral approaches, mindfulness techniques, as well as creative arts therapy. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitative facilities. I am also a violinist so I am very sensitive to the concerns of professionals in the creative and performance fields. I have been a Board Certified Music Therapist since 2006 and I am currently a candidate for a license in psychoanalysis (LP).
