Great to meet you!

I work with a variety of concerns, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression. Additional areas of expertise are self-esteem, relationships, social skills, assertiveness/boundary-setting, and perfectionism. I am committed to providing high quality and affirming mental health services to clients of diverse backgrounds, identities, and situations.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I view clients as experts of their own experience and view therapy as a collaborative process and in which we work together to achieve your goals. I work from a whole-person approach which recognizes that many external and internal factors influence mental health and effective treatment must address the relevant factors in each client’s life. Treatment is tailored to each individual client by integrating methodologies that build upon their personal strengths.

What you can expect from our first session

During the first session, you will have the opportunity to discuss the concerns that bring you to therapy. We will also discuss your goals and what you can expect from me and from therapy. If you have participated in therapy in the past, I find it beneficial to talk about what you found helpful as well as what you found unhelpful. This knowledge helps me create a treatment plan that will work best for you.
