Wanting to find peace from trauma, depression, anxiety, or need help coping with significant life changes? I work primarily with teens and young adults building skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, be mindful and present in the given moment, and communicate and interact effectively with others. I specialize in trauma informed care, emotional regulation and mindfulness as well as relationships and family dynamics.
I would describe my therapeutic style as person-centered, genuine, compassionate and nonjudgmental. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior strategies and skill building. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I have additional training and experience with dual diagnosis clients.
