After completing her Bachelor of Social Science at the University of New England, Anna worked as a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor for four years in Australia before returning to University to pursue her passion for Sport Psychology. Anna obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Sport Psychology at the University of Western Sydney and was invited to the United States to provide mental skills training at an extreme athlete’s training camp in California.
Over the next 20 years Anna has continued to help athletes from beginners to elite achieve their peak performance in a wide range of sports. During this time Anna wrote a monthly column for 7 years called The Competitive Edge for a sporting magazine through which she provided tips and techniques for peak performance. Anna is an avid athlete and competitor herself. She is an accomplished runner and National Cutting Horse World Finals Champion.
Anna completed her Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling at Nashville, Tn and for the past 7 years has worked with victims of child abuse and trauma. Anna is trained and experienced in providing trauma focused treatment to individuals, groups, and families who have been exposed to trauma and traumatic grief. In 2019 Anna was awarded the Commissioner’s Award of Excellence for her service to victims of child abuse. Anna specializes in treating symptoms of Post-traumatic Stress, anxiety, depression, and sexual trauma. Anna has been called as an expert witness to multiple criminal cases in the fight against child abuse.
Outside of work, Anna loves to travel with her family. She loves all things outdoors including hiking, biking, and camping with her boys and basset hound named Noodle.
