Being everything to everyone is exhausting, builds resentment, and leaves us feeling irritable, angry, and sad. You often don’t have time for yourself and you may feel that no one truly sees you for who you are or all that you offer. The anxiety that comes from living this life can be stifling, confusing, and frustrating, but when exactly are you supposed to find the time to deal with all your feelings when you are constantly responding to everyone else's.

The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.

You are not alone. It takes courage to take that first step, and you’ve demonstrated that courage by being here to read these words. You don’t have to go it alone. I am here to support you in redefining your new normal, finding new ways to address your familial concerns, personal struggles, or mental health challenges.

I am a solution-focused therapist who approaches the counseling process with openness and empathy. My philosophy of counseling is client-centered, based on respect for the individual and belief in each person’s intrinsic value. Fear will try to keep you from taking that first step. Don’t give in to fear, do it afraid.
