Great to meet you!

I want to applaud you for making the bold steps to finding a counselor. I know firsthand how intimidating that can be. My approach to choosing a therapist is as follows: finding a therapist is like buying a new pair of shoes. Have you ever seen a GREAT pair of shoes and hustled to try them on? Sometimes they are like clouds for your feet and full of style, other times, you quickly remove them. My hope is that we will be a good fit and work together from here on out. Let's talk soon!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma and relationship counseling, Complex PTSD. With specialized training as a CCTP and a variety of trauma tools such as EMDR, I am ready and equipped to help you make sense of your world. For relational-focused counseling, I use the research-based Gottman tools to aid you in developing the tools to improve the quality of your relationship.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is to be there with you in those struggles in life and to hopefully share in some of the joys life brings as well. Would you agree that life is hard? Day-to-day challenges arise and can bring un-enjoyed stress. Relationships are a part of everything we do and our best intention can be met with complications. I come to the counseling relationship hopeful to aid you in developing the tools to move from merely surviving to thrive to the best of your ability in this season of life.
