Great to meet you!
I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's degree in counseling, and a doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision. I have more than a dozen years of clinical experience and developed specialties in the treatment of depression, anxiety, substance and alcohol use disorders, women's issues, chronic illness and disability, and sexual and identity health. I work with adults and I am happy to provide both in person and remote services.
A bit about my approach to therapy
I utilize and approach that involves careful listening in a supportive and warm environment. I am interactive and directive; meaning I don't just sit and listen, but rather I am very involved in your care. I work to help you acquire tools as soon as possible to impact your ability to cope immediately, while also working on the big picture changes to sustain your goals.
