As a counselor, I will seek to help you navigate challenges to help you regain hope, meaning, purpose and confidence. Furthermore, I will strive to help you connect your thought process with your emotions and behaviors to bring positive change to your life.
Passionate about empowering people to overcome personal obstacles and improve their relationships and quality of life, I provide unique therapeutic experiences by integrating mindfulness, sand tray, play, and art. I utilize a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, Adlerian therapy, reality-based therapy, and psychoeducation.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Georgetown, Texas. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. I am a member of the Texas Counseling Association.
My counseling experience encompasses a variety of treatment settings, including school-based, domestic violence and sexual assault non-profit, in-patient psychiatric, as well as private practice.
Therapy can help you learn more about yourself, achieve your goals, and improve your relationships. Therapy can allow you to safely face your obstacles while being supported in a non-judgmental and validating environment. If you are willing to do the work, you have the power to change.
