With more than a decade providing direct therapy to adolescents, women and families, I have a passion to help people get out of the rut they are in. Most of my experience has been with adjustment, anxiety, depression, and relational disorders of teens and young adults. But my expertise stretches into healing from trauma, sexual abuse, and loss.
I believe strongly that therapist and client should fit well together. At the first session, you can expect a nonjudgemental and an easy-going conversation to build up a therapeutic alliance.
Therapeutic techniques/interventions you can expect in a therapy session are: Motivational Interviewing, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness, Coping Skills, Psychoeducation, amongst other skills.
