Alyssa focuses on creating a safe and nurturing environment for her clients and uses a person-centered and holistic approach as the foundation of her practice. She believes that the mind and body connection have the power to heal and transform pain into empowerment. Alyssa feels that working with the nervous system and the body is just as valuable in therapy as reframing negative beliefs. She is certified in Mind, Body, Energy techniques and uses mindfulness, meditation, movement, energy work, CBT, and DBT skills to assist in the healing process. Her careful balance of using talk therapy and experiential in session allows for her clients to have deeper transformations and healing. She teaches clients how to embody safety, security, empowerment, and wholeness to help them live a more authentic and balanced life.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, yoga, and photography. Alyssa also loves to spend quality time with her husband, puppy, and family.
