Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the State of New Jersey, as well as a National Board Certified Counselor. Since 1989, I've had direct experience in virtually every continuum of behavioral health services, including inpatient, crisis, outpatient, partial care, supported employment, mental health intensive outpatient, and comprehensive school. Further, I'm experienced in clinical and supervisory roles and work with diverse populations.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The foundation of my approach is client-centered, believing that through therapeutic rapport change is possible. This approach has allowed me to draw from many disciplines, including CBT, mindfulness, and skill building areas, such as communication and boundary setting to decision-making skills. As a Kripalu Certified Yoga Teacher, I am open to the possibility of encouraging yoga and teaching breath work as a means to help manage moods, sleep disturbance, stress, and reactivity.

What you can expect from our first session

To be treated with dignity and respect while being challenged to explore ways to improve quality of life and affirm a life worth living despite challenges and obstacles.
