Great to meet you!

A presenting diagnosis is hardly the full story, it is merely the doorway by which we enter. Our work together will create a framework whereby you can initiate and maintain a relationship with your pain, and come to see it as an invitation for you to make contact with your higher self. Through investing in this process, you will transform the way you experience yourself and heal.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Through a warm and committed therapeutic alliance, I help my patients connect to their innate resources for wholeness and healing. I work with adolescents and adults in individual and couples therapy, where I use psychodynamic and behavioral tools to foster awareness and growth. I have trained in psychiatric & VA hospitals, addiction and eating disorder facilities, college counseling centers, and community clinics. I specialize in mood disorders and relational conflicts.

What you can expect from our first session

I do the work of deep listening and observing to understand you: your motivations, desires, defenses, and blind spots. Within a container of respect and support, I gently guide you to examine these parts of you. Together, we process difficult emotions related to what keeps you stuck and explore other ways of being that better support the truth of who you are.
