A bit about my experience: I work with people of all ages and backgrounds. Some of my primary areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, trauma, family and relationship conflict, anger management, parenting, and difficulty with various life changes and transitions. I also have a special interest in postpartum depression/anxiety, and a passion for helping people overcome panic attacks and other types of severe anxiety disorders.
It is important to have a strong relationship with your therapist and to feel that they are a good match for you. I want you to feel that therapy is a safe and non-judgmental place to share your thoughts, and feelings. The type of therapy approach I use depends on what you are hoping to change, and I believe that counseling should be solution-focused to help you achieve your goals and begin to see improvement as soon as possible.
