Great to meet you!

Due to licensing rules, I can only work with clients in New York State! I have 5 yrs of experience working with diverse, adult populations facing mental health challenges. I've been on both sides of "the therapy couch", as a survivor/thriver with Bipolar I Disorder & as a LMHC. I completed my internship assisting survivors of Domestic Violence & have a great deal of knowledge about Healthy Relationships vs Unhealthy ones. I am a committed, reliable & hard worker. Counseling is my honor.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to offer support, validation and feedback. I aim to remain curious and respectful. I have good boundaries and am a clear communicator. I tend to use strength-based, solution-focused and CBT techniques, but if you want to utilize "The Primal Scream" I am willing to get creative. ALSO: I write a therapy blog! If you'd like to know more about my approach, copy & paste my website into a search engine:

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to take away encouragement, hope and strategies for positive change at the end of their sessions. Some sessions will be for venting and others will be for problem solving. I look forward to following my clients' lead as I know they are their own best experts on themselves.
