Hi my name is Alexa, I am a mom of two, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and passionate about working with women who are pregnant, recently postpartum, or parents of toddlers and young children. I know first hand and professionally how beneficial therapy can be in helping uncover root causes of unwanted feelings and actions, as well as building helpful and practical coping skills that can be life changing in managing challenges and the stress and pressure of motherhood.
A bit about my approach to therapy
I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Person Centered Therapy to ensure each session is meaningful, helpful and supportive. I encourage you to reach out to me when you are ready to create meaningful changes in your life. I also understand that investing in yourself will also have a positive impact on those closest to you, including family, friends and coworkers.
