Some people believe seeking the support of a therapist means they are weak. I believe the people with whom I work in psychotherapy are some of the healthiest people I know. Sometimes when you feel stuck, or like you are not where you want to be, you can benefit from talking to a trusted professional in a confidential environment. If you are feeling unsure of what direction to take next in life, or you are struggling with a personal, professional, health, or family issue, we can work together to help you to uncover your truest desires, and realize them.
I became a psychotherapist and therapeutic yoga instructor (two separate services) because I was inspired after having enlisted the help of mind/body practitioners during my times of growth and transformation. Whether you choose psychotherapy or therapeutic yoga instruction, I aim to help you discover your own core beliefs that are holding you back.
I am also a certified in LifeForce Yoga® practitioner Level 1 for anxiety and depression. For those interested, we can incorporate evidence-based breathing techniques into our psychotherapy or yoga therapy sessions which have been shown to be effective in treating anxiety and depressive symptoms.
